Orlanthi Hero Bands & Units

Please give your suggestions, speculations and comments concerning Orlanthi forces present at the siege.
For suggested numbers and their fluctuation during the siege, see the Excel spreadsheet at
http://home.iprimus.com.au/pipnjim/ww/siegeforces.xls
which can also be found in the Files area at Yahoo Whitewall.
I guess our starting point will be to go through Barbarian Adventures and Orlanth Is Dead and decide which of the Sartarites mentioned there are likely to visit, and roughly when.
Much of the content can then be filled out by an appeal to the lists for PC/NPC volunteers.

Broyan's Household (and permanent guests)
Tribal Militia
<Joerg> When Broyan resisted the Lunar advance, he gathered the tribal fyrd of Volsaxar and fought some skirmishes but did not offer a battle. When he retreated his forces to Whitewall, many of his staunchest supporters among the tribes followed him into the fortress. As a result, the turncoats who stayed with their clans took over the smaller tribes, like King Hroar of the Bacofi.

- Volsaxi warriors at Whitewall
Hero Bands
- Night Jumpers - a local hero band
- Tumult and Tempest - hit and run Orlanthi guerillas outside the walls
- The Ram Riders - Crazy, Helering flyboys

(Nick has mentioned that a vingan rune on a red background resembles British 'L' (learner driver) plates. I think that's kinda appropriate :) <John>.)
Vingans
Numbers in all of these bands will be small.
- Vingans in Kallyr's personal band. Key roles as ambassadors, peace weavers, morale builders, agents provocateur, and of course, guerilla fighters. Insterid Fireeyes (see OiD) is among this group.
- Kheldonii Pavis Exiles, effectively led by the Vingan heroquester (and Kallyr 2IC) Natalina Vingadotter. Intensely loyal to Kallyr, but bewildered by The Queen's fading vingan values as her heroic transformation continues.
- Lismelder Spindle Spears.
- War Women bands (mixed vingan and Earth).
- City hearthguards and Red Women of the White Wall (Volsaxi widows and daughters).
- Does Leika have her own group of Vingans? <Jeff> I don't think so. She has her own group of Colymar companions - few of which are Vingans.
Allies and Mercenaries
- WhitewallMalkioni
- Hereward's Legion - 100 dropping to 25 Humakti, present for the early part of the siege
<Stu>Sheesh! See what I mean? The Lunars bring a perfectly organised, capable force of a variety of arms, and you barbarians haven't even started thinking about which scraggly lot are going to join you yet! And now you're browsing through mail order catalogues... :o) </Stu>
<Jane>And we still beat you! Got a spare Bat?</Jane>
